Deliveroo has appointed Adam Miller as its new chief financial officer.

Miller has been with the group since February 2019, having previously served as vice president for corporate strategy

He most recently stepped in as interim CFO for the delivery app group.

According to Deliveroo, Miller has played a “significant” role in helping the company manage the impact of Covid-19, and has helped the group prepare to emerge in a stronger position post-lockdown.

His appointment was unveiled in a global all-staff meeting yesterday, led by founder and CEO Will Shu.

In a statement, Deliveroo said: “Changes to Deliveroo’s executive team come as the company looks beyond the Covid-19 crisis and CMA investigation and prepares for a period of sustained, profitable growth.”

Prior to joining Deliveroo, Miller worked at travel company Expedia Group for seven years.

He held a number of senior positions at Expedia, including vice president, strategic partnerships and vice president, strategy and analytics, managing large teams and functions across markets.

In addition, he was briefly chief revenue officer at CarTrawler, a leading B2B travel technology platform.
