New Soho Cantonese restaurant to serve food through tiny hole in the wall

A new Cantonese restaurant will be opening today (19 April) through a window decorated with traditional Mandarin calligraphy on Greek Street, Soho.

The Pleasant Lady Jianbing Trading Stall will be serving traditional jianbing (like a Chinese burrito) from 11:30am to 8:30pm.

The hatch will be offering jianbing for £1 during their first week before prices eventually rise to £6.

The restaurant will only offer jianbing but contemporary takes on the traditional dish with pork, lamb and chicken options will be available.

The tiny hatch suits the trend of restaurants downsizing, with larger chains Patty & Bun and Bird opening serving hatches in the capital.
