Island Poké appoints new head of property

It is reported that he joins just as the brand is set to embark on its “biggest growth ambitions yet”, with plans to open 100 locations across the UK in the next five years

Island Poké has announced the appointment of Hux Norman as the company’s new head of property ahead of its plans to embark on a period of “huge” growth.

Norman reportedly joins from the UK café, bar, and restaurant operator, Loungers, where he was property manager.

In his new role as head of property, he will be tasked with securing prominent locations for expansions as the brand looks to spread across the nation.

The brand currently has 18 sites in London, 11 in France and a residency in the luxury shopping destination, Bicester Village.

Island Poké is also part of the Hero Brands group, which also includes German Doner Kebab, Choppaluna, Sides and XIX Vodka within its growing portfolio. 

In addition, Island Poké is part of White Rabbit Projects group, a hospitality development platform that partners with early-stage restaurants and entrepreneurs to support and accelerate growth. Others in its portfolio include Lina Stores and Kricket.
