Today’s news in brief – 09/02/24

Yum Brands total Q4 revenues rose 1% to $2.03bn (£1.6bn), as net incomes rose 24% to $463m (£367.3m) during the period ending December 2023. The news comes as the group’s global operations of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell saw a 5% rise in sales – driven by a 6% unit growth and a 1% rise in same-store sales. 

Borough Market has appointed a new chair and a new vice chair of the charitable trust, Shane Holland and Claire Pritchard. Holland previously held the position of vice chair and replaced Adrian Bunnis who is stepping down after four years in the role. Meanwhile, Pritchard steps into the vice chair role having been a Borough Market trustee for eight years.
