US burger brand Carl’s Jr. to launch in the UK

Carl’s Jr. is looking to partner with hospitality entrepreneurs and investment groups who can open at least 20 restaurants in their respective regions in the next few years

US burger brand, Carl’s Jr. has partnered with Christie and Co to support its search for several franchise partners to roll out the quick service restaurant’s UK launch. 

News of this UK expansion follows the brand’s success in Europe, where they now have over 80 sites. According to the chain, the UK is the next step in its expansion after doubling its growth in the last six years.  

As a result, Carl’s Jr. is looking to partner with hospitality entrepreneurs and investment groups who can open at least 20 restaurants in their respective regions in the next few years.

In addition, the brand is looking for franchise partners with the capability to invest in high traffic locations in and around major towns and cities. Carl’s Jr. is also focused on developing stand-alone restaurants from 150 sqm and up, however have a range of flexible formats to also open in high streets and shopping centres.
