Tata Eatery reopens in Kilburn

Movable pop-up restaurant, Tata Eatery, ran by restaurateurs Zijun Meng and Ana Gonçalves is to reopen in Kilburn.

The restaurant has previously opened in Bermondsey, Fitzrovia, Shoreditch and Dalston, with the later enjoying huge success with the critics. The new pop-up will open on 8 November at the Sir Colin Campbell pub.

In a statement, Tata Eatery said: “We have great news! There will be two menus. On the upstairs dining room expect the full TĀ TĀ style menu of sharing plates. We advise you to book to avoid disappointment but we will also try to accommodate walk-ins.

“On the ground floor we will be serving a reduced menu and walk ins are welcome (no booking needed). Think Iberian Katsu Sandwich, Ox cheek quesadilla to name a few.”

The food aims to be a fusion of the owners Chinese and Portuguese heritage, with a menu focused on rice dishes, seafood, Iberian and Cornish meat, and fermented ingredients.
