Popeyes owner sees system-wide sales rise 14% in Q2
During the quarter, the group’s consolidated comparable sales also increased 9.6%, while net restaurants grew 4.1%

Restaurant Brands International Inc., which owns Popeyes and Burger King, has revealed that consolidated system-wide sales grew by 14% year-over-year during the second quarter ended 30 June.
This comes as the group surpassed the 30,000-restaurant mark globally, generating more than $40bn (£31bn) in system-wide sales over the last year.
During the quarter, the group’s consolidated comparable sales also increased 9.6%, while net restaurants grew 4.1% compared with the same period last year.
As a result, the group’s net income hit $351m (£275m) for the quarter, compared with $346m (£271m) in Q2 of 2022, while its adjusted EBITDA of $665m (£521m) increased 10.3% organically.
