Family-run restaurant Origin City has announced that it is set to open on 17 August in West Smithfield, London.

The restaurant will be set up by the same team that launched 56 West Smithfield Wine Bar and Shop last year.

The decor and the menu at Origin City are influenced by the family’sBritish, Scottish, Provençal and Slavic ancestry.

All of the meat comes from the family’s 600 acre organic farm in Argyll, Scotland and all of the seafood comes from their aquafarm, Loch Fyne Oyster.

The executive chef will be Graham Chatham, who has over 35 years of fine dining experience and has worked at well-renowned restaurants such as Rules and The Langham.

After opening Origin City will be open for dinner only but will be opening for lunch soon after.
