Kalamaki Street Greek expands portfolio to seven

Founded in 2019, the group said that its growing portfolio, which features three Deliveroo editions kitchens, has been operating profitably across London

KSG Franchising has announced the opening of its seventh Kalamaki Street Greek site with the launch of another London venue.

Situated at the Colour Factory, the Hackney Wick restaurant follows a recent Tooley Street opening in March 2021.

Founded in 2019, the group said that its growing portfolio, which features three Deliveroo editions kitchens, has been operating profitably across London.

Kristina Koncova, managing director at KSG, said: “With its live music, food court and multifunctional events space, the Colour Factory is a diverse and inclusive environment, which totally mirrors the values we hold dear here at KSG.

“We’re delighted to be growing the Kalamaki Street Greek brand and appealing to new customers in what have been hugely challenging times.”

Franchisee Larissa Grano will lead the site, bringing 21 years of franchising experience to the position.

She said: “Since joining KSG I have seen the brand reinvent itself to sustain success and profitability during the pandemic.

“Kristina also understands the needs to adapt the Kalamaki Street Greek concept to meet the needs of each location and the communities it supports.”

Kalamaki also revealed that it intends to further grow its London portfolio, with launches in Camden and South West London scheduled to occur before the end of September 2021.
