Sri Lankan and Southern Indian inspired restaurant, Hoppers, has announced its new King[s Cross restaurant is to open on 11 February.
The opening of the new site takes the portfolio of Hoppers restaurants to three sites in the UK, which includes Soho and St Christophers Place.
The menu will feature exclusive dishes for King’s Cross with bar bites and short eats such as chilli and curry leaf peanuts, jaffna isso vade with curd chilli, mussel hodi and string hoppers and sizzling beef poriyal.
The new site will offer 130-covers and features an extended bar which will be equipped with beers on tap, including two of Hoppers’ own brewed beers – the ‘Hoppers SPL’ (Sri Lankan Pale Lager) and a ‘Toddy Ale’.
JKS Restaurant, which owns Hoppers, also operates the Gymkhaha brand, which is set to reopen its Mayfair site this month after a fire forced it to temporarily close its doors in 2019.
