In addition, a donation has been made by RedCat to Hospitality Action to help ensure they remain staffed over Christmas and are able to continue the work being done to support the mental health of those working in the industry.

Rooney Anand, executive chairman of RedCat Pub Company, said: “While Christmas is an enjoyable period for many, it can be challenging for those helping to spread the cheer. We are proud to be partnering with Hospitality Action to encourage ‘check ins’ and to support the invaluable work they are doing, raising awareness and appreciation for those working during the Christmas festivities.

“While the campaign is running over the Christmas period, the tools we have developed will be available indefinitely, and we encourage everyone across the industry to use them.”

Paul Silk, people director at RedCat Pub Company, added: “We know that Christmas can be difficult – it’s not an automatic happiness giver to everybody. So, here at RedCat, we wanted to encourage more ‘check-ins’  from both guests and staff alike to ensure we’re all doing as well as we can over Christmas.

“We have developed a suite of useful tools that we are making available to the whole of the industry this Christmas in the hope that it will find its way to the people that need it most.”
