The Lunar Pub Company is set to open its second site, Ganymede, in Belgravia on 7 September.
The 2500 square foot site has been designed by NOVO Design House, and is split between a 30-cover bar and a 55-cover dining room.
It will trade seven days-a-week for lunch and dinner, including Saturday brunch and Sunday roasts, and its owners said it will offer “refined and innovative” British food.
The modern interiors feature “sleek tiling and uniformed panelling, offset by exposed brick walls and timber wood flooring”. Other key design features include vintage statement mirrors, pendant lights, in addition to plush velvet and clean leather upholstery.
The 55-cover dining room will serve a daily changing menu of British dishes such as crab and basil raviolo, leek fondue and creamed bisque; quail and foie gras wellington, creamed potatoes and roast shallot; Cornish hake with white bean puree, roast salsify and burnt lemon and caper dressing; and for dessert, a white chocolate crème brûlée with blueberry compote.
The 30-cover bar area will meanwhile feature an extensive wine list and signature cocktails, alongside a range of top shelf spirits, as well as lagers and real ales.
The Lunar Pub Company was co-founded by owner Director Hubert Beatson-Hird and owner chef Director Oliver Marlowe in 2019.
Beatson-Hird said: “With life reopening and the appetite for unforgettable dining and drinking experiences greater than ever, Ganymede couldn’t be launching at a better time.
I can’t wait to show people what we’ve been working on behind the scenes for the past 18-months, and I’m confident Ganymede will be a stellar addition to Ebury Street.”
Marlowe added: “To reflect the Belgravia location, we’ve introduced an elegance to the interiors, and this is something Head Chef Dan Mertl has also channelled into his menu too.
“Having had the pleasure of previously working with Dan at The Glasshouse in Kew, I know how talented he is and I’m excited to showcase the elevated culinary creations we have designed for Ganymede.”
Ganymede is the second site from Lunar Pub Company, the first being The Hunter’s Moon in South Kensington.
