The new Henley Piccolino will serve a curated menu that will showcase dishes such as the Carbonara Grande, an authentically roman carbonara from a pecorino cheese wheel, as well as the freshest salt baked seabass, and the finest cuts of meat, such as the 21-day aged Wagyu steaks.

Guests can enjoy Italian classic antipasti, such as bruschetta classica and carpaccio di fassona, with beef sourced from the northwest region of Italy, thinly sliced and served with a rocket and parmigiano reggiano salad. A brunch menu will also be served every day from 11am.

Complementing the food will be “decadent” interiors – from the marble flooring and pyramid ceiling to the greenery adorning the rest of the restaurant. The venue will also feature a marble bar, diamond-cut mirrors and exposed brick interior finish that nods to the history of the building.

In the private dining room the walls are dressed in wine cabinets that showcase the collection of rare wines that are available to guests. Italian-inspired art adorns the remaining walls with works of contemporary art from the continent.

Andrew Garton, CEO of individual restaurants, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of the brand-new Piccolino restaurant in Henley-on-Thames. The new opening marks an incredibly poignant moment for Piccolino as we grow in the Home Counties. At Piccolino, we are dedicated to serving the very best in Italian cuisine, ensuring Italy’s rich culinary heritage is at the centre of everything we do, and this is exactly what we are bringing to the community in Henley.

“We’ve explored every corner of Italy to bring our new menu to Henley and alongside our incredible team at Piccolino, we cannot wait to welcome guests to the restaurant to experience it with us.”
