Formerly general manager at Simpson’s in the Strand, Anne Lomas will oversee The Savoy’s restaurants – Kaspar’s at The Savoy, Thames Foyer, and Simpson’s in the Strand, along with in-room dining. Lomas will also support the other food venues and undertake further responsibilities within the broader food and beverage department at The Savoy.

“Alongside developing the business, Anne has also developed an outstanding team, nurturing colleagues and focusing on career progression. We look forward to seeing Anne bring her personable charm and expertise to this exciting new role.”
Lomas began working in hospitality aged eighteen, whilst travelling in New Zealand, she took a job at a wine bar and rose to the position of manager. Following a move to London, Lomas worked at Nicolas Wine Merchant in Canary Wharf, before becoming head sommelier at Roast. She has also worked at 45 Park Lane, Shangri-La at the Shard, and ING Restaurant.
Lomas was appointed as the first female general manager at Simpson’s in the Strand, 35 years after women were first allowed to dine at the restaurant.
