Prezzo chair to join Deliveroo’s board

Deliveroo has appointed Prezzo executive chair Karen Jones and former Coca-Cola Europe chief executive Dominique Reiniche to its board as non-executive directors.

Jones will join the delivery apps board as the chair of the remuneration committee and as a member of the audit committee.

Alongside her executive role at Italian food chain Prezzo, she is the founder of Cafe Rouge and CEO of Spirit Group, and currently the chair of Hawksmoor and Mowgli. 

Previously, she chaired the remuneration committees of ASOS Plc and Booker Plc.

Meanwhile, Reiniche will join Deliveroo’s board of directors as a non-executive director and as a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.

She has extensive experience in consumer marketing and innovation in the European food and drink industry, as well as other consumer-facing sectors, including as CEO of Coca-Cola Europe previously. 

Reiniche also has expertise in the technology industry as a current non-executive director of PayPal Luxembourg. 

Reiniche will commence her appointment on 1 May, while Jones will join the board on 1 June.
