He was eventually appointed operations manager at the four-star Mandolay Hotel, Surrey, most recently.

Set within 186 acres of landscaped gardens, the listed 19th-century mansion is located in a prime position in Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, within the High Weald AONB.

The venue’s newly-opened Forest Brasserie, located in the Country Club, with a balcony overlooking both the forest and the 18-hole par three golf course, delivers an informal dining experience for guests, from breakfast through to supper.
