Aquavit London names Jonas Karlsson as head chef
Aquavit London said Karlsson has developed a ‘signature style’ that ‘encapsulates the essence of both simple modern European and Scandinavian food’
Aquavit London, a Nordic restaurant in St James’s Market, has announced the appointment of Jonas Karlsson as head chef.
Karlsson, who has two decades of cheffing experience, will be responsible for curating the Aquavit London menus and managing the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis.
Karlsson has served as head chef at restaurants including 100 Wardour St: Heaton Butler and Baine; and Harvey Nichols ‘Fifth Floor Restaurant’, as well as having been chef de partie at Coq d’Argent and Michelin-starred Orrery.
Aquavit London said Karlsson has developed a “signature style” that “encapsulates the essence of both simple modern European and Scandinavian food”.
