A new online forum for leaders in the hospitality industry has been launched to help encourage collaboration and peer-to-peer support during the Coronavirus crisis.
The forum, called Gather, has been created by mobile order and pay company Wi5, and is supported by Think Hospitality Group.
Targeted at owners and senior executives of restaurants, cafés, pubs, bars and nightclubs, the forum is a space to “gather and share learnings, resources and great ideas” during the current crisis and beyond.
Gather is open to all topics of discussion, and has currently seen collaboration form c-suite executives on topics including content and comms strategies, supply chain management and remote staff training.
Gavin Peters, chief marketing and strategy officer at Wi5, said: “Having worked closely with our clients and friends in the industry since the Coronavirus crisis took hold, it has been clear that there is a real sense of togetherness in the hospitality community, but there’s been a need for a simple communication channel for operators to collaborate and help each other through these challenging times.
“This forum is all about creating a positive environment to help operators get proactive and creative, and, along with partners such as HospoLive, help the industry come back stronger than ever.”
