London’s Bonhams to close before Christmas

London’s Michelin-starred Bonhams restaurant has announced it is to close on 19 December.

The restaurant has been open for over three years in the auction house of the same name, collecting its Michelin star in 2015. Head chefs, Theo Clench and Tom Kemble announced the restaurant’s closure on Instagram.

Clench said: “Me and @tfkemble achieved something way bigger than us or anyone expected. I want to thank all the team past and present for all the hard work and dedication over the last four years!

Earlier this year, the site housing the auction house and restaurant was sold to private equity firm Epiris, it had previously been owned by private shareholders.
