Tredwells to shut its doors after seven years

Founded in the heart of Covent Garden, Tredwells delivers seasonal menus with an emphasis on locally sourced produce, plant-based eating and sustainable methods of production

Tredwells, which is owned by chef Chantelle Nicholson, has announced the closure of the restaurant after seven years on Friday, 24 September 2021.

Founded in the heart of Covent Garden, Tredwells delivers seasonal menus with an emphasis on locally sourced produce, plant-based eating and sustainable methods of production.

The restaurant is also a recipient of a Green Star at the 2021 Michelin Awards for UK and Ireland. Over the years, the site has welcomed more than 315,000 guests through its doors.

In preparation for its closure, from the 15 to the 24 of September, the group will only be serving its Vegwells and Taste of Tredwells menus to ensure minimal waste of leftover products.

Nicholson said: “We will be closing the doors at Tredwells with fond memories and a great sense of achievement.

“The last seven years have been an incredible journey and I would like to thank all the people who have been part of it, as well as the guests who enjoyed our hospitality. My team and I are excited for our next chapter.”
