San Carlo set to open new restaurant in 2021

San Carlo Restaurant Group has announced it is set to launch a new Italian restaurant concept in Spring 2021.

The 6,000 square feet, 200 cover restaurant with two outdoor dining terraces, will open at St Christopher’s Place in London.

Founded in 1992, San Carlo is owned by the Distefano family and operates 21 restaurants across the UK and five globally in Qatar, Bangkok, Riyadh and Bahrain.

Marcello Distefano, managing director for San Carlo, said: “We are very excited to have been able to acquire this site as it has been on our radar for a long time. St Christopher’s Place and the area surrounding it has been going through an amazing transformation over the past couple of years.

“We’re looking forward to bringing something new and exciting and will be revealing our plans in the coming weeks. Although London is very difficult at the moment, we believe it will come back stronger than ever.”

The new restaurant will be the tenth addition to the chain’s current portfolio of restaurants across London.
