Pasta Evangelists launches at Manchester Airport Terminal 2
Italian classics including Prosecco, Aperol Spritz and Moretti lagers will also be on offer, alongside Italian coffees, tea and San Pellegrino soft drinks
Pasta Evangelists has announced the opening of its first ever airport takeaway store at Manchester Airport Terminal 2, building on its rapidly expanding portfolio of consumer stores and take away kitchens across the UK.
The latest launch follows the opening of the first Pasta Evangelists’ consumer stores in Richmond, Greenwich and Chiswick, with several more stores to follow.
The new location is now open and for the first time, will introduce customers to the Pasta Evangelists’ Italian breakfast offering, which is set to be rolled out to other locations in the near future.
Among a selection of dishes will be ‘the Italian breakfast bowl,’ a unique offering of oven cooked pancetta, Italian sausage, frittata, borlotti beans and toasted focaccia with a vegetarian option also on offer.
The wider breakfast menu will include “popular” breakfast dishes with an Italian focus, for example focaccia with pancetta or Italian sausage and an Italian frittata with spinach, as well as an enticing selection of pastries, porridge and pancakes with berry compote.
Additionally, the takeaway restaurant will also serve Pasta Evangelists’ pasta sauces with each dish complemented by a fresh pasta shape, e.g ‘Carbonara of Dreams’ with spaghetti, beef and Chianti ragù with creste di gallo, mushroom fusilli, pistachio, cashew and chilli pesto with creste di gallo as well as Pasta Evangelists’ cult seafood special, lobster, crab and prawn ravioli.
Alessandro Savelli, founder of Pasta Evangelists, said: “We are thrilled to launch our first airport outlet at Manchester Airport. It is a very exciting time to see the rapid growth of the Pasta Evangelists brand as it continues to reach new consumers.
“This past year has been a huge step forward for us, the launch of the Pasta Factory, our Richmond, Chiswick and Greenwich restaurants and a wealth of regional openings for our take away kitchens. We are constantly seeking new ways to innovate and the Italian inspired breakfast menu at Manchester Airport is just another example of our passion and willingness to expand into new areas”.
