Ei agrees further deal with The White Brasserie Company

Ei Commercial Properties, the Ei Group business which manages a developing portfolio of assets leased to third parties, has further strengthened its relationship with The White Brasserie Company, sister company to Raymond Blanc’s Brasserie Blanc chain.

Ei Commercial Properties has agreed a 20-year commercial free-of-tie lease for its pub currently known as The Galleon in Highcliffe, Dorset, which will reopen as The Oaks in July following an extensive refurbishment.

The news comes after Ei Group confirmed the sale of 370 pubs from its estate earlier this year.

Jeremy Brown, property director at The White Brasserie Company, said: “We have worked with Ei Commercial Properties since 2014 and we’ve always found them to be really helpful and a pleasure to work with. They are very good at picking out great properties in the locations we thrive in, and we have now developed 10 sites with the group. We hope there will be further opportunities to build our portfolio with them in the future.”

“The White Brasserie Company is a long term partner of ours and we’re delighted to have found this new site which offers just the right proposition for them. We will continue to work with the team there and are hopeful of identifying other potential sites across our estate for future projects.”

The Oaks will open following a refurbishment in line with The White Brasserie Company’s premium pub offering. A significant investment is being made in its kitchen which will serve fresh, seasonal French fare and British pub classics, all cooked from scratch. The pub will offer a large restaurant area with up to 100 seats, while additional seating will be available in a redesigned garden.

The White Brasserie Company is a 19-strong group of pubs that aims to provide a warm and welcoming pubs situated in affluent areas across the UK. The retail proposition offers a unique combination of a traditional pub serving French brasserie food with an English twist.
