German Doner Kebab (GDK) has opened four new restaurants this month as it continues to expand its UK estate, with new sites in Clydebank, Bournemouth, Leytonstone and Romford.
The openings come after the quick-service restaurant chain passed 150 UK locations earlier this year, as it targets further growth across high streets, retail parks and neighbourhood centres.
The Clydebank restaurant has opened at Clydebank Retail Park on Britannia Way. In Bournemouth, GDK has launched its first site in the town, opening at the Royal London House building on a prominent corner location.
Two further restaurants are due to open on 23 December, with a site on High Road in Leytonstone, close to Leytonstone Underground station, and another on South Street in Romford, one of the town’s main retail areas.
Simon Wallis, chief executive of German Doner Kebab, said: “Clydebank, Bournemouth, Romford and Leytonstone are all fantastic locations with a strong sense of community. We’re excited to continue our rapid growth across the UK and introduce even more people to our fresh take on a much-loved favourite.”
The company said all four restaurants will offer dine-in and takeaway services seven days a week.
