UKHospitality appoints Jim Cathcart as director of policy and regulation

UKHospitality has announced the appointment of Jim Cathcart to the role of director of policy and regulation.

Cathcart joins UKHospitality from the British Beer and Pub Association where he worked for 10 years as a senior policy advisor and policy manager specialising in a wide range of subjects including: licensing, planning and copyright.

UKHospitality chief executive Kate Nicholls said: “We are delighted to welcome Jim to the team at an incredibly exciting time for UKHospitality. Jim brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience of working on policy for hospitality businesses.
