Rarebreed Dining has announced the reopening of its Reading venue, The Corn Stores, with a brand-new fine dining concept.

Located in the heart of Reading in a restored Grade II listed building, the new store includes a restaurant, cocktail bar and members’ lounge.

Furthermore, the venue recently underwent a refresh, introducing a new dining menu differing from the group’s usual steak-focused style.

Under the culinary direction of head chef, Liam Sweeney, the menu changes depending on what’s in season.

Signature dishes include the hearty Aylesbury duck breast with beetroot, chard and fig, Slow roasted pork collar with girolle, peas and gooseberry, and for the sweet-toothed, a marinated apricot with smooth coffee and milk.

In the refurbished bar, the menu includes Ox tongue buns, Lincolnshire Poacher and brioche toast and a British charcuterie selection served alongside craft beers and cocktails, curated by The Corn Stores’ mixologist.

Founded by managing director Jordan Hallows and chef Director John Sparks, the group’s other restaurants include The Plough Inn, The Shurlock Inn, The Waverley Inn and The Corn Stores.
