Cin Cin to open London restaurant site

Cin Cin, an Italians restaurant chain, has announced it plans to open its first London site in Fitzrovia at the end of April.

Opening on Foley Street, Cin Cin London will begin trading with outside covers before welcoming customers to its 20 seat dining room once government restrictions lift.

Founded by David Toscano with head chef Jamie Halsall, Cin Cin runs two restaurants in Brighton and Hove where they hold a Michelin Bib Gourmand and AA Rosette.

Toscano said: “Our Fitzrovia site will be a small and intimate neighbourhood restaurant with 20 seats inside and 20 plus outside on a south facing corner with lots of afternoon sun, it’s perfect for alfresco dining this Summer.”

The Fitzrovia menu will focus on seasonal neighbourhood Italian dining with dishes like Scottish scallop, San Marzano and smoked chilli, fennel, tapenade butter; Chicken Milanese and a giardiniera salad.

Halsall added: “We knew there would be restrictions on them coming to us so we had to go to them and we wanted to give them something to enjoy and take their mind off the pandemic.

“We stayed true to our roots with a weekly changing menu of three and five courses at an affordable price and it is because of the response and support we’ve had from our brilliant customers that we are now in a position to grow again.”
