Chestnut Group acquires Suffolk pub

Pub operators the Chestnut Group has acquired The Crown in Stoke-by-Nayland, Suffolk, the 10th pub in the company’s East Anglia portfolio.

The Crown is a traditional inn with 11 bedrooms, and was recently nominated by the AA as one of the best pubs in Suffolk. The pub has been operating for 16 years and has developed a reputation for its food and wine list.

The Crown sources local produce and drinks where possible with the daily fish board menu with five or six fresh fish and seafood dishes.
