Pizza Pilgrims has opened a new pizzeria in King’s Cross and reopened its original Soho site following a full refurbishment.
The new 92-cover King’s Cross restaurant opened to the public yesterday (8 December) across two floors, combining Neapolitan influences with retro design elements.
Meanwhile, the Soho site, which first launched the Pizza Pilgrims brand, has reopened today (9 December) with an expanded dining area and a refreshed interior inspired by the founders’ travels in Italy.
The redesign includes a new booth styled like a train carriage on the lower floor.
Both locations will serve the brand’s Neapolitan-style pizzas, made with a 72-hour double-fermented dough.
The menu features dishes such as the Margherita, Double Pepperoni and Spicy Honey and the Carbonara, along with rotating seasonal specials and sides.
The news comes after Italian restaurant brand L’Osteria acquired a majority stake in UK-based pizza chain Pizza Pilgrims as part of a plan to expand its international portfolio, for an undisclosed sum.
